Our Story

The story of Gelateria Miami begins in 1940, just steps from the Pantheon, when Achille Angelè, together with his son Giorgio and his brother-in-law, opened a café with a pastry and gelato workshop.

Over the years, the craft was passed down from generation to generation.

In 1996, Marco Angelè — Giorgio’s son — opened Gelateria Miami with his wife Lidia: a family project born from passion and vision.

After a few years of running the gelateria together, Marco pursued an international career in the industry, while Lidia continued to bring the gelateria to life with dedication and care.

Where We Are Today

Today, we are the fourth generation of the Angelè family.
We continue to do things the way we were taught: with care, respect, and a love for quality.
It’s a living story, built day by day, with the desire to honor the memory of those who started it and the value of what they left us.
